A great product that is truly "Made in Great Britain!"

I saw two labels in the same jumper recently that in equal parts annoyed and shocked me; one said 'Fabulously British' and the other 'Made in China.' I'm sure some could argue the two are not mutually exclusive, but I can't reconcile the two. But, I get worked up about the tag you often see, saying 'Designed in Great Britain' - that's short-hand for 'made overseas.'

So it's odd that our new range of collars and leads only have our name on them, but then everything BARKA PARKA is 'Made in Great Britain.' Perhaps we'll add that later, but there's little space on the smaller sizes.

We'd wanted to add collars and leads to the BARKA PARKA range for a while, but they had to be comfortable, durable and stylish. And made in the UK. We went with a traditional, relatively simple (and long-lasting), design, and then found the right person to make them. All our leads and collars are made by a Master Saddler, using English bridle leather, and fixings that are cast in the UK.

The result is a good looking product, hand-stitched to handle wear and tear, and that will last for years and years.
